As I’m sure you know, nothing in the gym comes easy. I’ve tried just about everything under the sun and have found that the old staples are just about all that’s available. Protein, Creatine, and Nitro are a part of my intake. I’ve done the forbidden “s” word and there’s really no way to match those kind of results. Good luck and keep up the hard work.

I am 18 and 5’6″, is it safe to take HGHs? I am not really familiar with HGH, but I’ve heard about it and researched a bit over the net. What does it do actually, and what are the side effects? I’ve also heard that it increases the size of a guy’s “manhood”, so to speak. Is it true?

yeah it would work but whats the point of having muscles if your p e n i s doesn’t work i suggest you change your routine every know and then to get sore you have to do variety of work outs to get results quickly

My 8-year old cat recently was whacked in the head with a heavy door. At first, she seemed fine, but within 24 hours she was showing signs of neurological problems (loss of balance, head tilt to the right, loss of appetite, etc.) The vet also found what seems to be an abscess at the root of her canine (?) tooth. She prescribed a steroid (prednisolone) to deal with the head injury and an antibiotic (clavamox) to deal with the infection. The cat is doing a little better, now. Still unbalanced, and still has the head tilt, but she’s eating and interacting with us again. Also, her eyes have regained pupillary response and aren’t “ticking” as much.

My question relates to the use of steroids to treat the head trauma. I just read an article that says it’s not a good idea, and that people (and, presumably, pets) are more likely to die within two weeks of being injured than those not treated with steroids. Is this now widely believed? Are we making a potentially lethal mistake?

The steroid is for the infected tooth too. The tooth may actually be causing more of the disorientation than the hit on the head.

u cannot really control your height.. but u can greater your chances of growing taller.. but its in your genes

Beware that using HGH tells EVERY cell in the body to grow, not just your muscles. Some baseball players have bigger heads now (literally and figuratively) than their rookie season – think they were using HGH? Beware that HGH is extremely expensive as mentioned before, and most of it (especially the discounted kind) is fake.

cortisone is a steroid hormone
It is one of the main hormones released by the adrenal gland in response to stress. In chemical structure, it is a corticosteroid closely related to corticosterone. It is used to treat a variety of ailments and can be administered intravenously, orally, intraarticularly, or transcutaneously. Cortisone suppresses the immune system, thus reducing inflammation and attendant pain and swelling at the site of the injury. Risks exist, in particular in the long-term use of cortisone.

Growth hormone (GH) is a peptide hormone that stimulates growth, cell reproduction and regeneration in humans and other animals. Growth hormone is a 191-amino acid, single-chain polypeptide that is synthesized, stored, and secreted by the somatotroph cells within the lateral wings of the anterior pituitary gland. Somatotropin (STH) refers to the growth hormone 1 produced naturally in animals, whereas the term somatropin refers to growth hormone produced by recombinant DNA technology,[1] and is abbreviated “HGH” in humans.

Growth hormone is used as a prescription drug in medicine to treat children’s growth disorders and adult growth hormone deficiency. In the United States, it is only available legally from pharmacies, by prescription from a doctor. In recent years in the United States, some doctors have started to prescribe growth hormone in GH-deficient older patients (but not on healthy people) to increase vitality. While legal, the efficacy and safety of this use for HGH has not been tested in a clinical trial. At this time, HGH is still considered a very complex hormone, and many of its functions are still unknown.[2]

In its role as an anabolic agent, HGH has been abused by competitors in sports since the 1970s, and it has been banned by the IOC and NCAA. Traditional urine analysis could not detect doping with HGH, so the ban was unenforceable until the early 2000s when blood tests that could distinguish between natural and artificial HGH were starting to be developed. Blood tests conducted by WADA at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece targeted primarily HGH.[2] This use for the drug is not approved by the FDA; GH is legally available only by prescription in the United States.

GH has been studied for use in raising livestock more efficiently in industrial agriculture and several efforts have been made to obtain governmental approval to use GH in livestock production. These uses have been controversial. In the United States, the only FDA-approved use of GH for livestock is the use of a cow-specific form of GH called bovine somatotropin for increasing milk production in dairy cows. Now retailers are permitted to label containers of milk as produced with or without bovine somatotropin.

So I have come to believe that I deprived myself of a lot of growth during my early puberty years. From freshmen year in high school to early senior year I would usually come home eat a big meal, practically a dinner and go directly to bed. Then at 8 pm I would wake back up, take a shower, do homework, and around 12 am to 1 am I would go to sleep. I found out during my Junior year of high school that when you eat a big meal insulin is released and Insulin suppresses HGH by about 50% which is the key hormone that makes you grow. Not only that, but I have signs all over my body that I deprived myself of growth: I have dents in my face and you would only notice them if I allowed you to touch my face, I am 3 inches shorter then my cousins who were the EXACT same height as me when we were growing up, one of my cheeks is bigger then the other and if I pointed it out you would instantly notice it, and my mandible from the side is very long due to my face not elongating enough vertically. So this is just my history and I’m 18 now at 5ft 7.5 in and was 5ft 6.5 inches at the end of 8th grade. This really bothers me so I went to an Endocrinologist and he did an IGF-1 blood test. My IGF-1 came back at 327 which is a perfect level and a little bit more then normal so he couldn’t prescribe me HGH because the pharmacist and insurance company would question him on why he is prescribing someone with a perfect IGF-1 level, HGH and he would lose his license. So my question is, is there ANY way I can obtain this substance legally, can I appeal to some sort of board, can I talk to someone because I’m 100% positive I deprived myself of at least 2 inches of growth and not only physical growth, but also my internal organs didn’t grow properly either, such as my brain?
It’s not eating a lot that I have come to believe deprived me of growth, it’s eating and going to sleep. I did this for 3 1/2 years, 4 to 5 days a week, and saturdays and sundays I didn’t have school so I would wake up late and have no reason to eat and go to sleep.

You’re convinced that eating a lot as a teenager stunted your growth and you need HGH to fix this now. You are wrong.
